The brake pads work together with the brake calipers. When the brake pedal is applied, hydraulic pressure is applied to the calipers, which clamp the brake pads onto either side of the brake disc. Depending on the amount of braking force applied to the brake pedal, the vehicle will either decrease in speed or come to a complete stop.
Used on the Summit Utilitruck (SU5) front disc brake.
Sold as a pair. Two pads used per wheel.
